Under the Piano stars Amanda Plummer, Megan Follows & Teresa Stratas, and while dealing with a subject mater that is a lot more mature than Anne of Green Gables, it does possess the Sullivan Entertainment touch. Under the Piano
The true story of Franny Basilio (Amanda Plummer), a woman who is determined to build an independent life for her autistic sister, Rosetta (Megan Follows). Their mother (Teresa Stratas), a faded opera star, is blind to Rosetta’s exceptional musical talent. Inevitably, her ignorance and desire for adulation poisons her relationship with her daughters. While Franny struggles to keep Rosetta out of an institution, she forces their mother to bear witness to the strength and human spirit she has locked herself away from.
